The general maintenance worker II keeps the premises of the winery and estate grounds well-maintained and orderly while contributing to a wide variety of construction projects that preserve and improve the historic 137-year-old Napa Valley Estate.
This position is responsible for coordinating and directing the Tasting Room staff in order to fully optimize sales potential, while maintaining efficient operational procedures and keeping within budgetary guidelines. Works closely with the Tasting Room Manager and the other Tasting Room Supervisor to implement fine service operations and standards. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and applicable laws.
Responsible for helping maintain the consistency, authenticity and quality of the food prepared at Inglenook for the Events Department and Tasting Room programs on an on-call, as needed basis. Help with prep and execution with lunch and dinner special events, prepare cheese and charcuterie platters for wine tastings, maintain cleanliness of kitchen and kitchen appliances and assist with the culinary garden.
